Can. Not. Wait! Cory and I are so very excited to see the two of you get married and spend a lifetime growing together. Love you both! ❤️
You both did a wonderful job on putting this wedsite altogether. Marriage is about working together side by side, As long as you are each other's Best Friend nothing will come between you. Don't ever forget that! You two make the perfect couple and it shows every time I see you both together. ( mostly in pictures ;-) ) Luv you both!
Love this!! So excited for both of you!! Hoping we can make it to share your special day with you!

My sister Alex is 8 years younger then me so as you can imagine I wasn't very interested in spending time with her when she was little, she was just cramping my teenage style of course.
The older we have gotten the closer we have become. I am so proud of her and her accomplishments in life. She has just recently moved to Colorado and accepted a position in a school system as their Ocupational Therapist.
I couldn't picture anyone else as my maid of honor but my baby sister! I promise not to throw any rocks at your head at our wedding ;)
Cory and I have always been more like brothers than cousins. His father and mine were twin brothers so I guess that makes sense. When Brandy first met Cory she even couldn't believe how much Cory and I not only look alike but act alike! We've been very close our entire lives, from snowmobiling and camping with our fathers when we were younger, boating and tubing down the Au Sable River, to now Brandy and I spending many weekends in Indiana with his wife and 4 beautiful daughters; Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Madison, and Olivia.
Cory works as an Organ Recovery Coordinator for Indiana Donor Network, meaning he flies around the country to recover organs for surgeries. Cory is the defintion of a family man and I hope to someday be as great of a father as he is. He and his wife Nicki are raising 4 amazing little girls that I've had the priviledge of watching grow up. And its just a bonus that Brandy and Cory's wife Nicki have grown to be close friends.
I'm honored for Cory to be my best man and witness me marry the love of my life. Brandy and I aspire to one day have as loving and caring of a family unit as Cory and Nicki have.
It's best that everyone fly in the day before we sail due to any flight delays etc. So please see the "booking Info" page for the room block we have set up in Miami for the night before and make your reservation. We have arranged for shuttles to take everyone to the Port on February 4th. The cruise will return to dock the morning of February 10th so you can have a flight that leaves anytime after 10 AM on the 10th if that is convenient. Please click the RSVP button on this event to confirm.
Because we are having a destination wedding and many of our friends and family won't be able to attend, Brandon and I have decided to change up the traditional wedding shower and have a "send off" party to celebrate! We can't wait to see everyone and let loose!
A weekend full of shenanigins has been set for the bachelor party. Brandon and his closest friends will be spending the weekend in Silver Lake one of Brandon's favorite places!
If you've received a Save the Date, you can click on the RSVP button above to let us know if you're planning to attend.
Originally designed as a stately Caribbean great house on the coconut tree speckled Petra Plantation, the Grand Old House was built by Boston businessman William Henry Law in 1908.
The foundations are constructed with locally grown ironwood, an exceptionally tough or hardest wood in the world, which helped the house survive the strongest of storms, including a multitude of norwesters, the no name hurricane back in 1932 and Hurricane Ivan in 2004.
When Mr. Law left the Cayman Islands, the Lambert family came to oversee his business and to live in the house. The Lamberts entertained frequently, hosting elegant parties. When the Lambert family left Cayman for Jamaica in 1925, the house remained in the care of Olive Hinds, the family housekeeper, for many years.
During its long history, the Grand Old House has been used as a Sunday school for local children, a hospital for soldiers wounded in World War II, a beauty parlor and a shelter for island residents during storms and hurricanes. Old-time residents even tell the story that a doctor once performed an operation on a dining room table.
In the 1950s, the house passed into the hands of retired U.S. Army Colonel Pirnie. It was in his time of ownership that Cayman’s first Rotary Club was chartered at the house in 1966. Grand Old House was then purchased by Bob and Jeanne Brenton and other partners, who turned it into a restaurant in 1969. At that time, South Sound Road was no more than a dirt track and the restaurant was lit by oil lamps.
Although there were not many tourists in those days, the restaurant became a favourite with residents. For several years in the late 1980’s and early 90’s, Grand Old House was managed by the late Friedman Paul Erhardt, a German who was better known on American television as Chef Tell. Currently, the Grand Old House is owned by a group of Caymanian entrepreneurs who have supported and maintained it in its original form with new additions such as the 5000 square foot, ocean front deck.
Today, Grand Old House remains one of the finest restaurants on Grand Cayman, with an award-winning wine list, impeccable service and sophisticated island charm.
Our Reception will also be held at The Grand Old House. There will be a lunch served as well as cocktails of course! A DJ will lead us in our first dance as a married couple. We can't wait to share this monumental moment with everyone. After we return to the ship after the wedding the fun won't stop, we would love for everyone to continue the celebration aboard!
My parents have been together 32 years and married 26 of those! They are a great example of true love and surviving anything life throws at them. An inspiration to Brandon and I. They have always had a way of letting my sister and I make our own mistakes and still be there to help us pick up the pieces. Even though we live far apart now, we are probably closer now than we ever were. Thanks Mom & Dad for all your love and support over the years! I love you.
My Dad......where to start? My Dad was my best friend and the best father anyone could ask for. He is the reason I love the outdoors so much. He took my brother & I camping and on a lot of fun vacations while growing up.
In February 2010, my Dad was diagnosed with leukemia. Within 6 months, my Dad lost his courageous and brave battle and sadly passed away. His absence left a void in my heart and life that can't be expressed enough. Knowing he will be watching down on both Brandy and I as we say "I do" gives me tremendous happiness.
My mom and Wayne have been married for just over 20 years and have gone through a lot together. My mother fought through breast cancer when I was in middle school and has been cancer free for 17 years. Both she and Wayne are very adventurous and always traveling, whether it be a cruise to the Caribbean or to their winter home in Florida.
When Wayne and My mom got married I gained 2 sisters, Lisa and Shelly. Lisa is married with 2 little ones and Shelly is getting married in October of 2017!
Without either of them, my home that Brandy and I now share would have just been a dream. Their hard work and vision made it possible and I'm forever thankful.
My grandma has been a constant support in my life and I couldn't imagine life with out her. I couldn't have a family page without mention of her. She is always there for me even if I just need to talk. I love her with all my heart and I am so happy she is able to join us through our wedding adventure!
The proposal is a story in itself and is sure to be a great memory to tell our children.
Mackinac Island was the location I decided on. Our friends Justin and Kristina accompanied us since we often travel to Mackinac City and the island with them and I did not want Brandy to catch on.
I had mentioned I wanted to go to the highest point of the island to an old British fort, Fort Holmes. Well Brandy decided to drink a few mimosas with Kristina, knowing we had to pedal bicycles up to the fort.
The ride up to the fort was filled with laughter, but mostly Brandy yelling about how hard the climb was on the bicycles since she had just drank the mimosas. After a lot of yelling, we made it to the top.
The idea was for Kristina to take a photo of Brandy and I with Lake Huron behind us. After the photo was taken, I began to get down on one knee. Brandy didn't disappoint....she began yelling "What are you doing!" Well it finally clicked in her head that I was proposing. Needless to say, her reaction was priceless as she began apologizing for the attitude on the way there and continued to apologize throughout the rest of the day.
After experiencing that day, I know that our marriage will always keep me on my toes and make our relationship stronger and better as our life long journey together progresses.
Brandon and I first met in 2008 when he applied for a patrol officer position where I worked (Tittabawassee Twp Police), I was actually in another relationship so didn't pay much attention to him as I thought he was just another big headed cop applying for a job ;) Although he had his eye on me from the beginning, so he says.
Brandon has never been anything but a gentleman to me, and to everyone around him for that matter. I never really knew he even liked me and I may not have had an instant interest in him romantically, but I always admired him and his dedication to truly caring about people. And of course I always thought he was adorable ;)
When the relationship I was in ended, Brandon sent me the text message that changed our lives....it went something like "Hey I heard you might be single", uh huh.....he knew and was fishing for information and I knew it! From that day on I knew he was the one, he has done nothing but support me in my transitions both personally and professionally.
I truly know that Brandon is the one for me, I have never been the kind of girl that believed in fairy tales but Brandon changed that for me. He is my Prince Charming and the only regret I have is that I didn't meet him sooner so I could love him longer. I can't wait to be his wife!
I was born in Saginaw and also come from a small town, not as small as Brandy's though. I graduated from St. Charles and pursued a career in Criminal Justice at Delta College. I've been a police officer for 9 years and that is how I met Brandy.
From Day 1 I knew she was the one. Our personalities and traits go hand in hand with each other. Brandy is someone that I can tell anything to and she listens to me, whether its something good or bad. As hard as law enforcement can be, she is always there for me and that speaks volumes.
I'm looking so very forward to spending the rest of our lives together and starting a family. Brandy is perfect to me in every way and for that I'm extremely thankful that I found her.
I was born in Traverse City and grew up in a very small town just outside of Gaylord. So small I had a High School Graduating class of 7! I know, crazy! I attended NMU for a year after high school and then moved to Freeland and attended Delta College.
I received an associates Degree in Business Management at Delta and am currently finishing my Bachelors Degree at SVSU. I currently work for Tittabawassee Township and I love my job; mostly because that's how Brandon and I first met :) (More to come on that story!)
It may sound corny but in my spare time I enjoy doing anything that includes Brandon! I love our adventures together and can't wait to spend the rest of our lives creating lasting memories. Our wedding is a dream come true and will represent everything about us and our personalities, I can't wait to share our wedding adventure with our friends and family!!!

After much consideration and calling Brandon 3 times I pulled the trigger and put the deposit down on my wedding dress! Thank you to my Grandma and friend Kristina for putting up with my anxiety and indecisiveness all day.
We had an amazing experience at Lamour Bridal in Novi, the girls there are great and I look foward to working with them for my fittings <3

We have chosen a wedding photographer! This by far tops our list of things Brandon and I want to be perfect for our day. We want to share our wedding memories with everyone for generations to come and I know already that Rebecca is going to capture our adventure perfectly!

We've created this wedsite as a fun, convenient, and special way for friends and family who are both near and far to participate and celebrate with us. We hope you'll use it to get to know us better and keep up-to-date on our future plans.
Here you can read about how we met, meet our families, and RSVP to wedding events that are in the works. We've also included some fun stuff like a gallery for viewing photo albums, and a way for you to leave us a note in our virtual guestbook!
